Tackling a unique challenge, TWP Manufacturing embraced a project where the customer provided 80 drawings without any CAD files. The TWP team leveraged their expertise, redrawing the product in SolidWorks and undertaking a comprehensive re-engineering process to ensure practical manufacturability. The result is a meticulously crafted Battery Engine Bay Box that meets the highest standards of quality and performance.
The initial production run consists of 10 units, serving as a testament to TWP Manufacturing’s dedication to precision and excellence. Following this, a substantial batch of 200 units is anticipated for the aftermarket, highlighting TWP Manufacturing’s global reach while emphasising their commitment to producing all units in the UK.
Manufacturing processes for the Battery Engine Bay Box include cutting-edge techniques such as lasering, welding, and fabrication, showcasing the diverse capabilities of TWP Manufacturing. The entire production, from design, to manufacturing to assembly, takes place at the TWP Manufacturing site in Tipton, West Midlands, firmly establishing TWP Manufacturing as a leader in UK manufacturing.
